Dr Shayokh Ahmad has twenty-five years of corporate experience in financial institutions, telecommunication, automotive, tourism, mobile devices, real estate, and aviation industries. He started his career at ANZ Grindlays Bank (now Standard Chartered Bank) in 1998 and afterwards served Prime Financial Group, Hongkong based GSP Finance, Warid Telecom (now Airtel), RahimAfrooz Group, Shanta Group, BTI Group and US-Bangla Group in top management positions. Dr. Shayokh is engaged in management consultancy, corporate training, and adjunct faculty at Brac University. He completed his Bachelor's (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) at North South University in 1999 and 2001. He earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the European Institute of Applied Science and Management (EIASM), Prague, Czech Republic, in 2023. He has completed an executive diploma and several certificate courses in Germany, USA, Australia, India, and Bangladesh. Dr. Ahmad is also an Accredited Project Manager and internationally certified Career Coach. He was the founder-national member of Junior Chamber Bangladesh and AIESEC Bangladesh. He has exposure to print and electronic media. He has served as Chief Editor of the International Journal of Career Development since 2018. Dr. Shayokh is a travel-loving person who has visited thirty-five countries on six continents. His areas of interest are reading, writing, coaching, and playing golf. He is the Chairman of “Khidmat” and a trustee member of “Hands in Need,” the charity organization.
