LEAD Academy brought together renowned HR experts and thought leaders to discuss the latest industry trends and human resources practices in the community over traditional delicacies.
The event, titled “Flavors & Futures: HR Get-Together and BBQ,” was hosted at Krishibari Estates in Savar on February 28, 2025.
The discussions included an interactive exchange of ideas on emerging HR trends, talent management, and workplace innovation, while attendees experienced hands-on demonstrations and flavorful tastings of traditional Bengali pitha, alongside a gourmet BBQ feast featuring a mix of local and international flavors.

Mohammad Morad Hossain, CHRO & Board Secretary, Elite Paints Group of Companies, hosted the discussions. Dr. Musharrof Hossain and Md. Mehanazuddin Rupom were the keynote speakers, sharing their insights on Industry 4.0 and the future of HR practices in Bangladeshi organizations.
Dr. Musharrof Hossain emphasized the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) on HR, where HR leaders in Bangladesh must embrace digital transformation to drive business growth. Md. Mehanazuddin Rupom demonstrated how HR professionals can implement AI in their daily work to increase productivity and efficiency. He showcased the use of AI-driven tools in streamlining recruitment, automating repetitive tasks, and improving decision-making through data analytics.
He cited global trends, emphasizing that AI is not just replacing jobs but creating new opportunities, with an increasing demand for AI literacy, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence in HR roles. He urged HR professionals to embrace lifelong learning, upskilling initiatives, and AI-powered HR solutions to stay competitive in the evolving job market.
